Annual ART WALK     Feb 9, 2008 - Feb 9, 2008
Begun in 1996, the Art Walk was created to highlight local artists by placing their work in downtown businesses for a Saturday evening stroll. Artists and businesses create their own mini art experiences and the public walks from place to place to enjoy meeting the artists. This year is no different. We've added a Taste Of Chocolate for 2007. One Hundred Lucky Ticket buyers will taste a variety of tempting chocolate creations and vote for their favorite. Registration form:

LION'S CLUB PARADE of LIGHTS     Nov 23, 2008 - Nov 23, 2008
An annual event that kicks off the holiday season! This year's theme is: ??? The parade takes place the Saturday after Thanksgiving at 6pm. The starting point is the Craig Middle School parking lot. The parade will progress south on Yampa Avenue; west on Victory Way; North on Ledford and move toward Sandrock Ridge before ending at the Centennial Mall parking lot to disband. A trophy sponsored by the Copy Shop/Computer Corner will be presented to the entry judged best of parade. Other entries will be judged for Spree Bucks prizes. Bundle up and come on out!

Hallowe'en night was a bit chilly but hundreds of children and adults came downtown for trick-or-treats. Bunches stayed around for the Annual Rotary Haunted House fundraiser.
